Project Failure

Information and Guidelines

About us

Project Failure is a newly formed guild on the Ragnaros server, branching off from a vanilla raiding guild. Our goal is to to play at a high level while also enjoying the camaraderie and friendship of your guild mates.

We aim to provide a stable and productive raiding environment through effective leadership and great team work, and progress through content and have fun while killing mythic bosses.

We are a mature guild, so we do not accept applicants below the age of 18, and interpersonal drama will not be tolerated. Be respectful of others; we are a diverse guild so banter is encouraged, but be mindful.

Raiding expectations

We're all trying hard to progress as quickly as possible, so if you want to be part of our guild, this goes for you too. This means you'll show up to raids prepared, and try your best every raid. You'll keep up to date with class changes and make sure you always have the required consumables.

We raid 3 times a week, on Thursday, Sunday and Tuesday. Our raid invites start at 19.45 RT. At this point, people should be moving to the raid and the people there should start clearing trash. Boss pulls start at 8 o'clock. The raid ends at 11.30, although this may be earlier or slightly later depending on the circumstances. At the beginning of progression there might be an extra raid on Wednesday on the difficulty below the usual progression level. This raid turns into an optional raid after a couple of weeks.
We expect everyone to sign for raids up front and show up on time. This includes coming back from breaks promptly and respecting other people's time, as 19 others might be waiting for you.

The loot will be distributed through RC Loot Council. Gear is just a tool to help us progress and will be given to whoever needs it most. If you dont get a piece that you want and get mad about it, we are not the guild for you. BoE drops are given to the lootmaster and will be given to whatever raider needs it most. If no raider needs it, it will be sold to fund the raids. When trash drops become cheaper, raiders can keep the loot themselves.

We use Discord for our communication during and outside of raids. There are role specific channels you can share information in, and a progress boss channel where you can discuss the boss we're progressing on. We also share WeakAuras on Discord.

Trial terms

Should your application show you as worthy for a guild invite, you will then be given the rank of trial member for a minimum of 2 weeks at which time your performance and contribution to the guild will determine if you are promoted to a permament member or not.

If you have any questions before applying, feel free to speak to an officer in game.
